Emergency Dentistry

In case of an EMERGENCY during our opening hours (Mon-Thu 07.00-12.00 and 13.00-18.00 / Fri 07.00-15.00) call us: +41 52 624 55 11.
Outside our opening hours, you will be attended to by the SSO emergency dentist on duty from the region. Call the emergency centre +41 44 289 33 07 and ask for the emergency dentist on duty.

Tooth injuries
Completely knocked out teeth should not be cleaned, but immediately placed in a tooth rescue box, which is available in our dental clinic or in pharmacies. If a tooth rescue box is not available, it is advisable to place the tooth in cold UHT milk as an alternative. This is only possible for a few hours. In any case, contact the dentist immediately, as replantation cannot be ruled out. Collect larger fragments of teeth and take them to the dentist. Our dentist team will be happy to advise you.

Toothache
If you have toothache, do not wait too long and call us. We are there for you immediately, around the clock.
There are many reasons for toothache, such as gum problems, inflammation, minor fractures, caries or defective fillings. Pain can also occur after treatment. Whatever the reason for the toothache, we will find the cause and solve the problem. That is what we are here for.

Bleeding
Bleeding can occur after an accident. In most cases, you can stop this yourself by pressing on a bandage. A tetanus vaccination may be recommended for serious, open wounds. Consult your family doctor for advice. If there are signs of dizziness or vomiting, this may be due to a concussion of the brain. Please contact your family doctor or the nearest hospital immediately.

Knocked out teeth
If a tooth has been completely knocked out, it is very important that the tooth is picked up and placed in milk promptly. Alternatively, you can also transport it in your mouth. Visit one of our dental clinic as soon as possible. A knocked out tooth should not be washed or stored in water. Also avoid touching the root of the tooth. Report the accident to your accident insurance. We will then fill out the accident form together with you and send it to your insurance company.
